Enjoyed a family walk in the Kinear Ravine. Arrived a little late to join in the Edmonton Nature Club's trip, but saw a few interesting birds on our own. The highlight was Annette's fortunate spotting of not one but two brown creepers - while James was shut out! Check out Geobirds for more details.
After the thawing-and-freezing cycle, the paths were a bit icy. James wiped out, and Kayley needed a bit of help up some steep sections. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Most fun bit was Cameron and Zach's unorthodox approach to going downhill with little effort. Caught the last bit on video.

Visited Ice On Whyte. Kids loved
going down the ice slide (the main draw), and hanging around the ice castle. They even took some time to hack away at a block of the frozen stuff. Oh, and there was an ice maze Zach loved running through.
Didn't get much time to actually enjoy the sculptures, but glad the kids took a moment to at least glance at them.
